The famous Kareem Abdul Jabbar knew how to lose. He did not get all upset he was not sore looser. He took a loss in stride. He took a loss as a good thing, when he lost a game he would go back and what the team or himself had did wrong. He would that and apply it to the next game. He would talk to his teamates and keep them focused. Mr. Kareem was one of the all time best in the famous gaame of basketball. The football player from Oregon Ducks LaGarret Blunt was a sore looser. He did not know how to take a loss. He jepordized his college career and nfl career on one game. If he would of simply took the loss as a good thing and worked harder next week they would have won and they would habe been a better team.

The Chinese proverb quote says if you give a man a fish you can feed him for day but if teach how to fish you can feed him for a lifetime. This is a true saying. It is like saying if you give someone the answers to a test then you help them for that test but show them ow to do the problem and they will always remember how to do it. If you give a man one fish you will only simply feed him for a couple hours. He will get hungry again later and then if you are there , What will he do? starve? If you teach him how to fish he will never starve. You will him a life long lesson.

This quote by Arab Proverb sim states If you have you have much give your wealth, if you have little give your heart. To me the quote simply means that if you are rich or wealthy then share with others who are as blessed as you. God blesses peolpe with wealth because he believes in them to share with other peolpe to better that person. For example the great God that my family praises blessed us with a big house. 6 bedrooms 41/2 bathrooms. If my mom relizes someone is in pain then she will lend a helping hand. I get my kind heartness from my parents but more from my mom. God won't bless selfish people. God likes to use peolpe that he knows will use their blessings to help others in a time of need. The other part to this quote is that if you have little, give your heart. Giving your heart is the same thing as giving wealth when you have much to give. You can not put a price on a giving heart. Someone with little can give their heart and that means alot also.

My favorite sports to engage in are football track and basketball. I played basketball in my younger years, now I just really love the game of football. In high school I played football. My senoir year was my most acheiving year in sports. In football I was a Wide Reciever and also the starting kick and punt returner. I was on all of the special teams with the exception of onee. The quote "when webs unite, they can tie up a lion" to me simply means that with teamwork you can get allot done. For example a football team must have trust and be as one to win. They can be the best team in the world, but if they argue a lot and are not tight like a family then they will not produce and be capable of playing like the best team in the world. "Tight Like a Family" is a phrase my football used and it helped us stay focused and stay tight as one. We were one with one heart beat and one mind set. An additional avenue thatcan be drawn from the quote might be strength. Let each person on the team represent a portion of the web. Each individual carries their own strength. When unity is demonstrated , strength becaomes the end result creating the word team.
